Don’t Say Me “AUNTIE”

Before writing I want to say all to women, please don’t take is as any offense to your sentiments.

All men are warned not say Auntie to any woman EXCEPT she is her real auntie. This is the word, which is supposed to be one of the offensive words, if you address to any woman. Before addressing it, carefully see the woman. If she is more than 50, then it may be permissible. In metro’s men knowingly annoy women, by saying AUNTIE to those who are even younger to them. Some time I saw in buses, shops and markets, hot argument on this issue.

Reaction of women can be dangerous. It really hurts them. They feel better, if you address Bhabhi, Didi or Madam. Auntie makes them feel older. Who don’t knows women always like to be seen younger.  A lot of time they know, the guys are flirting. But they want to listen it especially if you praise about her.

Now come to some interesting and funny situations, derived from “Don’t say me Auntie”.

Suppose Government put rule, that saying Auntie to the woman, who deserve Bhabhi or Didi is punishable like smoking at public place. What will be the guidelines to set these rules? Should women organizations raise voice against it?  What is your opinion?

Hey I got a good idea to make an album (video) title – “Don’t say me Auntie”. Lead dancer – Rakhi Sawant in Saree and all older women from Kitty parties. Video will be full of comedy actions. It will be a hit sure.

Tell me about Yourself ?????

TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF ??????

When I started speaking the MFAQ (most frequently asked question) was “What is your name ?”. If a child gives the answer in English language, was appreciated. Abbajan taught me how to tell my name in English. I memorized it for the sake of 3.45 rupees. This became my source of income as in a typical village where Bengali-Urdu mix local dialect is spoken was a matter of pride.

This started the saga of “Tell Me About Yourself ?”. I got irritated after some time when everybody, wherever I used to go asked me the same question “What is your name ?” even they knew it. Today at every interview this question is asked not only one time but whoever will interview you from the same company at every round. So, what should be the typical answer of this question that is going to give the first impression about you. Interviewer judge basically your communication skill, background, education, strength and weakness, confidence and off course your attitude.

Answer of this question seems to be very common and same for a person but it is different (u may be surprised). Yes it is different for different job. You need to prepare it according to the job. It may need some preparation and a little deviation according to the job. It may be different in the expression and the way of pronouncing. Some time you have to hide some facts and some time stories are created. The best part is that there can not be a cross question because no body can ask you why and How you born on –/–/–. You can hit boundaries like power play in cricket.

In case if you got bored from this question especially in last rounds of your interview then you will get nervous from the first question . Then gradually you will lose your momentum and ultimately out of the interview. So we should take care and please control your temper otherwise it may rise a funny or embarassing situation. Follow all the tips to answer this question from various sources to give an impressive start of your interview and your career. ALL THE BEST……………
